The first thing I ask every gut health client is about their poop. That one answer tells me more than any lab test ever will.
IBS. Bloating. Acidity. SIBO. Leaky gut. Post-antibiotic gut damage. Built on Indian food and clinical Ayurveda by a dietitian who healed her own IBS-D first.
IBS is a functional disorder. Standard tests are not designed to detect it. A clear endoscopy does not mean nothing is wrong. It means the problem is functional and that is exactly what this program addresses.
Antispasmodics reduce cramping. They do not repair what caused it. PPIs suppress acid. They do not address why the acid is excessive. These medications manage symptoms. None of them treat the underlying condition.
Generic diet plans fail for the same reason. A plan built for the average IBS patient is built for no specific IBS patient. Your gut triggers, your stress patterns, your gut bacteria and your Prakriti are unique to you.
And most plans do not account for Indian food. A low-FODMAP list built for a Western diet has never heard of hing-tadka, kokum, ajwain roti or moong dal khichdi. Indian gut health needs Indian nutritional knowledge.

Dt. Hashika Vyas · IBS Specialist · MumbaiWe start with your poop. Then your full history childhood antibiotics, stress patterns, medication history, parasitic infections, gut-brain relationship. Nothing assumed. The root cause is found before a single food is changed.
A fresh Indian diet plan every single week. Not a template. Built around your IBS subtype, your triggers, your cycle and your schedule. Ayurvedic herbs selected for your Prakriti and your specific gut picture.
Symptom-free. Food-confident. Eating your full Indian diet without fear. Social eating without planning bathroom access. This is the phase most programs never reach. This program does not stop before it.
Not general supplements. Clinical tools chosen based on your IBS subtype and your Prakriti.
Reduces bowel urgency, soothes intestinal inflammation and has antimicrobial properties relevant to post-parasitic gut recovery.
"I use Bael for almost every IBS-D client. I know what it does because I felt it work on mine. Within 2 to 3 weeks, clients consistently report reduced urgency that no antidiarrhoeal had ever given them."
Reduces bowel frequency, shows antimicrobial activity against gut pathogens and supports mucosal recovery after infection without stripping the microbiome.
"Kutaj was part of my own recovery from IBS-D after years of parasitic infections. I use it consistently for clients with a background of E. histolytica or Blastocystis."
Sabja swells in the gut to encourage gentle transit. Kiwi skin has been studied specifically for constipation-predominant IBS with measurable improvement in stool frequency.
"Kiwi skin is one of the most under-used IBS-C tools I know. Most people throw it away. I prescribe eating the whole kiwi. Within two weeks, most IBS-C clients notice a consistent difference."
Ayurvedic formulation for sluggish digestion. Works on the Vata imbalance underlying most IBS-C presentations. Supports comfortable transit without the cramping of stimulant laxatives.
"For clients whose IBS-C has a strong stress and nervous system component which is most of them. The Vata connection is real. Gut motility is governed by the nervous system."

Stool consistency and urgency begin to shift in weeks 2 to 3 for most clients. Nausea typically clears by week 4. IBS-C clients reach full bowel regularity by week 6 to 8. Physical symptoms clear first. Food confidence and freedom from medication take the full 3 to 4 months.
IBS is a functional disorder. Standard diagnostics are not designed to detect it. A normal scope means no structural damage. It does not mean nothing is wrong. The program is specifically built for this presentation.
Split yellow moong dal is used in almost every IBS-D program. It is low in fermentable carbohydrates, anti-inflammatory and easy on the digestive system. Khichdi made with moong dal during flares is a go-to recommendation. Tempered with hing and jeera it also reduces gas and bloating.
PPI history, antibiotic use and antispasmodic dependency all affect nutrient absorption and gut bacteria. These are taken into account in full. The goal is not to replace medication. It is to give the gut enough nutritional support that the need for symptom-management medication reduces on its own over time.
